Il progetto  ha modificato la distribuzione interna dell'abitazione, spostando la zona pranzo e la cucina al livello seminterrato. Il collegamento tra i piani avviene tramite una nuova scala interamente realizzata in ferro grezzo, che nasconde al suo interno la canna fumaria del camino collocato al piano seminterrato. La scala si identifica per il contrasto tra l'interno, scuro e in ferro, e l'esterno, bianco in intonaco. Questo nuovo collegamento, compresso e definito, rompe lo schema precedente creando una sequenza di spazi aperto - chiuso - aperto, valorizzando così gli ambienti aperti e luminosi che mette in collegamento e dando ulteriore enfasi.

The project changed the internal layout of the house, moving the dining area and the kitchen to the underground level. The connection between the floors is developed through a new staircase entirely made of raw iron, which hides the flue of the fireplace located in the underground level. The staircase is identified by the contrast between the interior, dark and in iron, and the exterior, white in plaster. The new connection, a space compressed and defined, breaks the previous scheme creating a sequence of open - closed - open spaces, thus enhancing the open and bright environments that it connects and giving  them further emphasis.
